Session 1 : Introduction to Warli Art with Borders

The first module of Warli Art is dedicated to teaching and introducing children to the wonders of Warli art and its new techniques. Children improve their motor skills and hand-eye coordination while learning new techniques, as well as their creative expression and imaginative abilities.

Session 2 : Learn to make Human and Bird Figures Through Warli Art

In this session, Rupal will teach kids how to create human and bird figures using Warli art while giving them a formula that is easy to absorb. Learn how to make human and bird figures with the help of a simple formula.

Session 3 : Learn to Make Animals and Plants Through Warli Art

Rupal will take children through creating animal and plant figures with Warli art and using only a black sketch pen. Learn how to make animals, trees and plants with a black sketch pen.

Session 4 : Program Finale 1 : Learn to make a Scenery through Warli Art

In the first finale session of Basics of Warli Art, Rupal Ma’am will be teaching children how to create beautiful scenery using Warli art, courtesy of the humble black marker and sketch pen. Kids will learn how to create the first part of the scenery with a sketch pen and black marker.

MATERIALS REQUIRED -

  • Any Light Coloured or White Drawing Sheet (A4 Size) -1qty
  • Basic Stationery (Pencils, Eraser, Sharpener, Scale)
  • Black Marker (Thick & Thin)
  • Crayons or Sketch Pens
  • Previous Warli Sheets (for reference from Session 1,2,3)

NOTE:

  • If you do not have a coloured sheet, you can use a plain white sheet and colour it with your favourite light colour
  • Thin Black marker to make the borders

Rupal Ma'am will teach children how to make beautiful scenery using Warli art, using only a black marker and a sketch pen, in the first finale session of Basics of Warli Art. With a sketch pen and black marker, kids will learn how to make the first part of the scenery.

  • Compass or 2 different size round plates (one small and one large not bigger than paper)
  • Black marker thick

NOTE: Adult supervision is required for use of any sharp object like compass

Create Warli Art on Plate and Bottle

Session 19 : Part 1 : Tarpa Dance with Traingle Borders On Plate

The first part of the Warli Art Part – 1 session is split into two parts. Rupal will teach kids how to paint Warli on Terracotta/earthen plates in this session. The mentor will show the kids how to make a base out of white acrylic paint, then add three different circle borders and Tarpa dance figurines to the plate using round objects or a compass.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

  • 1 qty Terracotta plate or Earthen plate or ceramic or plastic plate or round wooden cutout or round cardboard piece (8 or 9 diameters)
  • Pencil and eraser
  • Compass/paper cut in round shape to make a circle
  • 3 different sized round objects or different plates to make a circle
  • Small bowl or lid
  • Acrylic paints only. It is mandatory
  • White Acrylic colour (must)
  • Thick Flat Paintbrushes(Any size 8,9,10,11)
  • Bowl of water
  • Rough cloth

Mentor's Note:

  • Always keep a rough paper below your painting so that it doesn't get spoiled.
  • Also for any surface painting which is not paper Acrylic colour is mandatory.

Session 20: Part 2 : Tarpa Dance with Triangle Borders On Plate

The mentor is working on Warli Art Part 2 on a Terracotta plate in this session. She gives the children the necessary materials for painting the plate. This will be a fun and educational class for children.

  • Plate (artwork) from previous session Part 1
  • Rough cloth and newspaper
  • Pencil
  • Acrylic paints (White and Black Color mandatory)
  • Thin flat brush (size 2-4 any)
  • Thin round brush (size 0-2 any)
  • Bowl of water

Session 21: Part 3 : Tarpa Dance with Triangle Borders On Plate

In this session, the mentor is continuing Warli Art Part-3 on a Terracotta plate. The little ones will be completing all the borders and then filling up the triangle with different acrylic paints. The mentor will teach kids to draw a Dhol in the very centre of the craft. To give it a final touch, kids will be using gold acrylic colour paint.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

  • Plate (artwork) from previous session Part 1&2
  • Acrylic paints (All bright colours)
  • Flat Paintbrushes(Size 2,3,4 any)
  • Thin round brush (Size 0, 00-4 any)
  • Bowl of water
  • Waste cloth
  • Golden or Copper or Bronze or Yellow Acrylic Paint

Session 22 : Part 1 : Warli Painting - Bottle Art

In this session of Warli Art, the mentor will teach kids how to paint in a bottle. This Bottle Art session is also divided into 3 parts. Kids will get a brief introduction about the material and the techniques being used throughout the class. Kids will be making a clean white base on the bottle using white paint.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

  • Glass bottle or plastic bottle - 1 qty
  • Acrylic paints(Light colours/Dark colours for background)
  • White Acrylic Paint colour
  • Rubber bands (10-15 qty)
  • Bowl of water
  • Rough Paper(to keep under the artwork)
  • Rough cloth
  • Pencil

This wonderful session is the continuation of the previous session. Kids will paint Warli Art on a bottle with the help of all craft related items like paintbrushes, Any bottle, Acrylic colours, etc. The kids will be outlining the sections they created in the last session.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

  • Please continue the Artwork from the previous session (Session 22)
  • Acrylic paints(Black )
  • Paint Brushes (size 0,00,2,3,4)
  • Bowl of water
  • Rough Paper(to keep under the artwork)
  • Cutter or Scissors

NOTE: Adult supervision is required for use of any sharp object like cutter or scissors

Session 1 : Introduction to Warli Art with Borders

The first module of Warli Art is dedicated to teaching and introducing children to the wonders of Warli art and its new techniques. Children improve their motor skills and hand-eye coordination while learning new techniques, as well as their creative expression and imaginative abilities.

Session 2 : Learn to make Human and Bird Figures Through Warli Art

In this session, Rupal will teach kids how to create human and bird figures using Warli art while giving them a formula that is easy to absorb. Learn how to make human and bird figures with the help of a simple formula.

Session 3 : Learn to Make Animals and Plants Through Warli Art

Rupal will take children through creating animal and plant figures with Warli art and using only a black sketch pen. Learn how to make animals, trees and plants with a black sketch pen.

Session 4 : Program Finale 1 : Learn to make a Scenery through Warli Art

In the first finale session of Basics of Warli Art, Rupal Ma’am will be teaching children how to create beautiful scenery using Warli art, courtesy of the humble black marker and sketch pen. Kids will learn how to create the first part of the scenery with a sketch pen and black marker.

  • Any Light Coloured or White Drawing Sheet (A4 Size) -1qty
  • Basic Stationery (Pencils, Eraser, Sharpener, Scale)
  • Black Marker (Thick & Thin)
  • Crayons or Sketch Pens

NOTE:

  • If you do not have a coloured sheet, you can use a plain white sheet and colour it with your favourite light colour
  • Thin Black marker to make the borders

Rupal Ma'am will teach children how to make beautiful scenery using Warli art, using only a black marker and a sketch pen, in the first finale session of Basics of Warli Art. With a sketch pen and black marker, kids will learn how to make the first part of the scenery.

Session 14 : Learning Painting Compositions - Warli Tree & Tribal Playing On Swing

The first session of this highly innovative program focuses on the basics of Warli art. Children start learning painting compositions as a part of this wonderfully engaging and creatively stimulating lesson. This will undoubtedly build their interest in Warli art.

Tarpa Dance is the focal point of this Warli art session for kids. This session will take things forward into the exciting territory by all means. Children will have a ball, to say the least. Learning new things is always fun!

  • Basic Stationery (Pencil, Eraser, and Sharpener)
  • Compass or 2 different size round plates (one small and one large not bigger than paper)
  • Black marker thick

NOTE: Adult supervision is required for use of any sharp object like compass

Session 19 : Part 1 : Tarpa Dance with Traingle Borders On Plate

The first part of the Warli Art Part – 1 session is split into two parts. Rupal will teach kids how to paint Warli on Terracotta/earthen plates in this session. The mentor will show the kids how to make a base out of white acrylic paint, then add three different circle borders and Tarpa dance figurines to the plate using round objects or a compass.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

  • 1 qty Terracotta plate or Earthen plate or ceramic or plastic plate or round wooden cutout or round cardboard piece (8 or 9 diameters)
  • Pencil and eraser
  • Compass/paper cut in round shape to make a circle
  • 3 different sized round objects or different plates to make a circle
  • Small bowl or lid
  • Acrylic paints only. It is mandatory
  • White Acrylic colour (must)
  • Thick Flat Paintbrushes(Any size 8,9,10,11)
  • Bowl of water
  • Rough cloth

Mentor's Note:

  • Always keep a rough paper below your painting so that it doesn't get spoiled.

The mentor is working on Warli Art Part 2 on a Terracotta plate in this session. She gives the children the necessary materials for painting the plate. This will be a fun and educational class for children.

Session 21: Part 3 : Tarpa Dance with Triangle Borders On Plate

In this session, the mentor is continuing Warli Art Part-3 on a Terracotta plate. The little ones will be completing all the borders and then filling up the triangle with different acrylic paints. The mentor will teach kids to draw a Dhol in the very centre of the craft. To give it a final touch, kids will be using gold acrylic colour paint.

  • Acrylic paints (All bright colours)
  • Flat Paintbrushes(Size 2,3,4 any)

Session 22 : Part 1 : Warli Painting - Bottle Art

In this session of Warli Art, the mentor will teach kids how to paint in a bottle. This Bottle Art session is also divided into 3 parts. Kids will get a brief introduction about the material and the techniques being used throughout the class. Kids will be making a clean white base on the bottle using white paint.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

  • Glass bottle or plastic bottle - 1 qty
  • Acrylic paints(Light colours/Dark colours for background)
  • White Acrylic Paint colour
  • Rubber bands (10-15 qty)
  • Bowl of water
  • Rough Paper(to keep under the artwork)
  • Rough cloth
  • Pencil

Session 23 : Part 2 : Warli Painting - Bottle Art

This wonderful session is the continuation of the previous session. Kids will paint Warli Art on a bottle with the help of all craft related items like paintbrushes, Any bottle, Acrylic colours, etc. The kids will be outlining the sections they created in the last session.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

  • Please continue the Artwork from the previous session (Session 22)
  • Acrylic paints(Black )
  • Paint Brushes (size 0,00,2,3,4)
  • Bowl of water
  • Rough Paper(to keep under the artwork)
  • Cutter or Scissors

NOTE: Adult supervision is required for use of any sharp object like cutter or scissors
