Lord Ganesha: Session 3

Give your artistic touch to Yellow Class's 'Mythological Painting' Program, where we will be painting Lord Ganesha and giving our inherent ability a gentle nudge in the right direction to achieve perfection in our artworks.

MATERIALS REQUIRED -

  • A3 size Drawing Sheet (Continued from the previous session)
  • Pencil
  • Eraser
  • Scale
  • Paint Brushes (Medium flat brush - 5 or 6 number & Small brush - 2 or 3 number, Round Thin Brush)
  • Acrylic Paint Colors (Blue Color, Sap Green or Olive Green Color, Lemon Yellow Color, Light Blue or Teal Blue Color, Orange Color)
  • Rough Cloth
  • Bowl of water

NOTE:

  • Do not take a light blue colour
  • If you do not have Sap green or Olive Green, you can mix a light green colour with one drop of Brown colour to make the shade of Sap green or Olive green
  • If you do not have Light blue or Teal blue, you can take a normal blue colour and add a drop of white colour to make it Light blue and add Green colour to make it a shade closer to Teal Blue

Rupal mam will teach kids brushstrokes while they paint the patron god's upper body in this session.

  • Acrylic Paints (Orange, Lemon Yellow, Dark or Golden Yellow, Purple, Light Green, Turquoise, White Color)
  • Water Container
  • Paint Brushes (Thick and Thin Size)
  • Rough Cloth

NOTE:

  • Paint Brushes between 3 to 5 number can be used
  • In case you do not have Purple colour, you can mix little Blue with Red colour to get the purple shade
  • In case you do not have a Torquoise colour, you can mix Blue with Green colour to get the Torquoise shade
  • To get the Sap green or Olive green colour, you can mix Dark green with White & Yellow to get the required shade

This session is all about getting started on the Lord Krishna painting. As part of this session, they will begin by creating a lovely background for the mythological God.

  • Acrylic paints or Poster colours
  • Palette or any plate
  • Bowl of water
  • Rough cloth
  • Basic Stationery (Pencil, Eraser, Big scale, Sharpener)
  • Thick Flat brush (8,9,10 or 11 any brush)
  • Thin Flat brush (Brush no. 3)

Colours to be taken:

  • Cerulean Blue or Sky Blue, Dark shade of Blue, Teal Blue colour
  • Black, White, Orange and Dark shade of Yellow colour

In the first session of module 2, kids get off to a rollicking start. They will start sketching Lord Krishna in this delightful session. It will be a great initiation into mythological painting for them.

The fun activities for kids continue with this innovatively themed session which is Part 3 of the sketching series. They complete sketching Lord Krishna beautifully, preparing for the painting odyssey ahead of them in the next session.

This session is all about getting started on the Lord Krishna painting. As part of this session, they will begin by creating a lovely background for the mythological God.
